Compassionate Care. Clear & Simple Pricing.

At Thrive at Home Care, we believe quality care should feel personal, dependable, and straightforward. Our home care and companionship services are offered at a competitive hourly rate starting at $40.00 per hour.

Our goal is simple: to provide exceptional, compassionate support at a fair price while helping you or your loved one continue to thrive comfortably at home.

Transportation & Outings

Sometimes care means getting out of the house, too. Our Associates can help with grocery shopping, errands, trips to the bank or post office, medical appointments, social outings, or simply getting you where you need to go.

When an Associate uses their vehicle to provide transportation, mileage is charged at $0.85 per kilometre, calculated from the client’s home and back again.

Tax Credits & HST

Depending on your individual circumstances, some home care expenses may qualify as eligible medical expenses for income tax purposes. Eligibility depends on the type of service provided and applicable CRA requirements.

In certain circumstances, home care services may also qualify for an HST exemption when the required conditions are met. We’re happy to discuss how this may apply to the services you receive.

No surprises. No complicated packages. Just caring, dependable support built around you.

Service Minimum

Simple scheduling. Flexible support.

At Thrive at Home Care, each visit has a minimum service time of one hour. This gives our Associates enough time to provide meaningful support without making your visit feel rushed.

After the first hour, additional time is billed in 30-minute increments, so you only pay for the extra time you need.

Whether it’s an hour of companionship or a little longer to help with errands, meals, or household tasks, we want our time together to feel helpful, comfortable, and worthwhile.

Because good care should never feel rushed.

Client Payment

Simple, flexible payment options.

At Thrive at Home Care, we want arranging and paying for care to be as easy and stress-free as possible.

We offer several convenient payment options, including cash, cheque, pre-authorized debit, money order, and online or telephone banking, where available through your financial institution.

We also accept Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) Health Identification Cards for eligible services.

Because getting the support you need should be simple from the very beginning.

Client Billing

Clear, simple and predictable billing.

At Thrive at Home Care, we want the financial side of care to be straightforward and easy to understand.

Client invoices are issued monthly, providing a clear summary of the services received during that billing period.

Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date (Net 30), giving you plenty of time to review and arrange payment.

Simple billing, so you can focus on what matters most — living well at home.
